A huge thank you to everyone who supported our second annual “Cooking with a Purpose” fundraising event!
Guests enjoyed a five-course tasting menu and dessert prepared by Chef Monica and friends–Chef Leslie Cleveland of Cleveland Hospitality Catering, Chef Sophia Jennings of Bachelor Bunny and Chef Quincy of Chef Quincy Culinary–plus wines from Love Cork Screw, and old-fashioned “lunch room” cookies made by Chef Tawanna Royster.
Our emcee for the evening, spoken word artist Blaq Ice, stirred the crowd with poetry readings, while our DJ, Jay the Magnificent One, kept the beat after dinner. Proceeds will help keep Tasteful Manners chefs in classrooms across Chicago, teaching kids and parents how to cook healthy, tasty food together.
